Door handle works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of clothes dryers. 1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and move the dryer away from the wall.
2. Open the dryer door and locate two mounting screws holding the handle.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the handle to the dryer door.
4. Remove the old door handle from the dryer door and set it aside.
5. Take the new GE WE01X20580 dryer door handle and attach it to the dryer door with the two screws previously removed.
6. Plug the power cord back in and place the dryer against the wall.
7. Test the new handle by opening and closing the dryer door.
