Lint filter assembly works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of clothes dryers. Replacing the WE03X23881 GE Dryer Lint Filter Assembly
1. Unplug the dryer power cord from the wall outlet or disconnect the power.
2. Remove the lint filter housing cover by opening the lint filter door and lifting up the cover.
3. Remove the filter assembly by pulling the filter straight up, away from the filter housing.
4. Install the new lint filter WE03X23881 in the same orientation as the original.
5. Place the lint filter housing cover back onto the lint filter and close the door to secure it.
6. Plug the dryer power cord back into the wall outlet or reconnect the power.
