Unplug the cord from the outlet or trip the breaker.

2. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the knob to the control panel.

3. Gently pull the knob away from the control panel.

4. Take the new GE WE01X21167 Knob and insert it into the slot on the control panel.

5. Secure the knob with the screws you removed earlier.

6. Restore power to the appliance.

7. Turn the appliance on to test that the new knob is working correctly.
