This is a genuine OEM part that works for some models of GE, and Hotpoint models. Replacing the GE WB62X42006 MAINTOP GLASS (DG)(DROPSHIP)
Instructions:
1. Before starting, unplug your oven to avoid any danger of electric shock.
2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove all the screws that are securing the main top glass to the oven.
3. Carefully lift one corner of the main top glass and slowly slide it out from the oven.
4. Place the new GE WB62X42006 MAINTOP GLASS (DG)(DROPSHIP) over the opening in the oven and slowly lower it into place.
5. Secure the new main top glass to the oven with the previously removed screws.
6. Plug the oven back into an outlet and turn power to the unit back on.
7. Test the newly replaced main top glass by turning the oven on and setting a desired temperature.
