DIY Instructions for Replacing the GE WB27X29031 CONTROL OVEN TO9 (GAS)
1.Shut off gas supply to oven by turning off the manual shutoff valve located at the back of oven.
2. Unplug the oven from the power source.
3. Remove door from oven and set aside in a safe area.
4. Locate the control panel and remove any screws which may be holding it in place.
5. Carefully pull the control panel away from oven and gently disconnect any wiring connected to it. Be sure to keep track of where the wires go.
6. Remove the mounting screws from the old control oven and remove it.
7. Install the new GE WB27x29031 control oven TO9, ensuring that all wiring is properly connected.
8. Secure the control oven to the oven with the supplied mounting screws.
9. Reconnect the wiring and secure the control panel in place.
10. Reinstall the oven door.
11. Reconnect the power source and turn on the manual shutoff valve at the back of oven.
12. Test the oven to ensure proper operation before using.
