2. Remove the grates, if applicable, and set them aside safely.

3. Remove the screws located around the edge of the cooktop.

4. Carefully lift the cooktop up and away from the stove.

5. Disconnect any wires going to the element and save for reattaching afterward.

6. Locate the GE WB30T10099 ELEMENT RADIANT 9IN DUAL and remove the mounting screws.

7. Remove the old element and install the new one.

8. Secure the new element using the mounting screws.

9. Reconnect any wiring that was disconnected earlier.

10. Place the cooktop back onto the stove and secure it with the saved screws.

11. Replace the grates, if applicable, and plug the stove back into the wall outlet. The
