2. Remove the ice bin and set it aside.
3. Locate the auger motor; it’s usually found in the back or at the bottom left side, depending on your model.
4. Remove the screws or clamps holding the motor in place.
5. Pull the old motor out of the refrigerator and disconnect the wiring harness from the motor.
6. Install the new WR60X10258 GE Refrigerator Icemaker Auger Motor.
7. Reconnect the wiring harness to the new motor and secure the new motor in place with the screws or clamps.
8. Replace the ice bin and plug the refrigerator back in.
