2. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws along the back of the refrigerator that hold the back panel in place.
3. Carefully pull the back panel off to expose the mounting bracket for the GE WR02X12149 Ring Compression.
4. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws that secure the mounting bracket in place.
5. Carefully pull the old GE WR02X12149 Ring Compression off the mounting bracket.
6. Slide the new GE WR02X12149 Ring Compression onto the mounting bracket.
7. Secure the new GE WR02X12149 Ring Compression onto the mounting bracket with the Phillips head screws.
8. Reattach the back panel to the refrigerator, ensuring all screws are tightened in place.
9. Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet to restore power.
