Trust us for all of your General Electric Hotpoint appliance parts and accessories needs. 1. Begin by turning off the power to your GE dryer at the breaker or fuse box. Unplug the dryer’s power cord if necessary.

2. Remove the screws on the lint filter cover that hold it in place and gently remove the cover.

3. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to loosen the screws that secure the timer knob assembly faceplate.

4. Pull the timer knob assembly out of the dryer and disconnect the wires from the back of the assembly.

5. Open the packaging for the new WE1M652 GE Timer Knob Assembly, White.

6. Locate the metal clips on the back of the new timer knob assembly and insert them into the holes on the dryer’s control panel.

7. Secure the new knob assembly with the screws previously removed.

8. Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the back of the assembly.

9. Replace the lint filter cover and secure it with the screws.

10. Turn the power back on to the dryer.

11. Test the new WE1M652 GE Timer Knob Assembly, White, to ensure it functions properly.
