Drive belt 3l works with some GE, and Hotpoint models of washer / dryers. How to Replace the WH01X20436 GE Washer / Dryer Drive Belt 3L450
1. Unplug your washer and dryer from the wall and turn off the gas line if they are connected to it.
2. Remove the back panel of your washer/dryer by unscrewing the screws and pulling out the old belt.
3. Place the new belt around the pulley and align it with the grooves in the pulley.
4. With the new belt in place, slowly roll the drum until it’s in the correct position.
5. Secure the belt by putting the idler arm in the correct position and tighten the tension bolt to ensure the belt is tightened up properly.
6. Reattach the back panel, plug your washer and dryer into the wall or gas line, and you’re ready to go!
