Step 2: Turn off the water supply to your appliance

Step 3: Disconnect the water hoses leading to the water inlet valve

Step 4: Remove the screws holding the water valve assembly in place.

Step 5: Remove the old water valve assembly

Step 6: Install the new GE WD15X26078 Water Valve Assembly

Step 7: Reconnect the water hoses to the water inlet valve

Step 8: Secure the new water valve assembly with the screws

Step 9: Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks.

Step 10: Plug the appliance back into the power source and test the new valve assembly before use.
