Replacing the motor assembly in your LG air conditioning unit is a relatively simple job that can be done with basic tools and a few minutes of your time. With our step-by-step guide, you’ll be able to complete the job in no time at all.
Things You’ll Need:
• A Phillips head screwdriver
• A flathead screwdriver
• New LG AC Motor Assembly (part number 4681EA1009C)
Step 1: Turn off your air conditioner and unplug it from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Remove the screws located on the outer panel of the unit, using your Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Take off the panel, and locate the motor assembly. It should be near the center of the unit.
