Step 1: Prepare for the Replacement – When replacing the LG ACP72929002 coupling assembly, you will need to shut off the power to the unit and disconnect it from the power source. Gather all the necessary tools, such as a flathead screwdriver, adjustable wrench, and other items as necessary.

Step 2: Remove Old Coupling – Begin by removing the existing coupling assembly. Start by unscrewing the two screws on either side of the coupling. Carefully remove the old part, making sure to not damage any areas around the coupling.
