To replace an LG 4H00982E Damper, you will need a pair of safety glasses, a Phillips screwdriver, a hammer, a flat-head screwdriver, a torque wrench, and a new LG 4H00982E Damper.

Step 2: Turn off the power source to the unit. Make sure that all power sources have been shut off before you begin working on the unit.

Step 3: Open the unit and locate the damper. On the side of the unit, there should be a panel with several screws. Remove these screws using the Phillips screwdriver. Then open up the panel and locate the LG 4H00982E Damper.
