1. Unplug your dryer’s power cord from the wall outlet to avoid electrical shock and injury.
2. Carefully remove the dryer’s top panel by pressing in the two clips located on either side of the top panel.
3. Locate the incandescent lamp inside the dryer compartment. It is usually located close to the dryer’s lint filter.
4. Grasp the metal base of the incandescent lamp and gently remove it from its socket.
5. Insert the replacement incandescent lamp into the socket, making sure that the metal prongs of the new lamp align with the metal contacts on the socket.
6. Reinstall the top panel of the dryer, and plug in the dryer’s power cord.
7. Turn on the dryer to test that the new incandescent lamp is working properly.
