1. Unplug your dryer from the power source and then slide it away from the wall.

2. Remove the lint filter cover. The filter cover is located inside your dryer, in the front left corner of the dryer drum. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the screws on either side of the filter cover. Lift the filter cover off the dryer.

3. Locate the lint filter assembly. The filter assembly is located underneath the filter cover, attached to the interior wall of the dryer.

4. Remove the old lint filter. Pull the filter straight out of its housing.

5. Install the new lint filter. Slide the new filter into the filter housing, making sure it’s securely in place.

6. Replace the filter cover. Align the filter cover over the lint filter housing and replace the screws you removed earlier.

7. Plug in your dryer and slide it back against the wall.
