1. Unplug the refrigerator before beginning the replacement process to avoid any potential injury or electric shock.

2. Open the freezer door and locate the ice maker. Remove the screws that are holding it in place, if any.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old ice maker.

4. Unscrew the mounting bracket from the wall of the freezer.

5. Carefully lift the old ice maker out of the freezer.

6. Install the new ice maker into the mounting bracket and secure with the screws provided.

7. Connect the new wiring harness to the new ice maker.

8. Set the freezer temperature to 0°F (-18°C).

9. Plug in the refrigerator and turn the power on.

10. Allow 24-48 hours for the ice maker to produce a full load of ice.
