Safety First: Start by unplugging your LG microwave from the outlet. Make sure that your appliance is completely disconnected from any power source before beginning the project.
2. Remove the Top Access Panel: Next, examine the top of your microwave interior and locate the access panel. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unscrew the four screws on the panel, then remove it and set aside.
3. Locate to Lamp Light Bulb: Now, you should be able to see the Halogen Lamp Light Bulb. Note the position of the bulb and its connection to the wiring before proceeding.
4. Disconnect the Wiring: Use an insulated electrical tool and disconnect the wiring from the original bulb. Carefully undo each wire and be sure not to let any of them touch each other during the process.
