DIY instructions for replacing the 5075JA1044E LG Refrigerator / Freezer Ice Maker Bucket Assembly:
Tools needed: Phillips Head Screwdriver, Flathead Screwdriver
Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator’s power cord from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Remove the two screws holding on the plastic cover that covers the ice maker bucket assembly with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 3: Gently pull out the plastic cover and set it aside.
Step 4: Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws securing the Ice Maker Bucket Assembly to the freezer wall.
Step 5: Take the Ice Maker Bucket Assembly off the freezer wall and set it aside.
Step 6: Take the new 5075JA1044E LG Refrigerator / Freezer Ice Maker Bucket Assembly out of its packaging.
Step 7: Position the new Ice Maker Bucket Assembly in the same place as the old one and secure it with the screws removed in step 4.
Step 8: Replace the plastic cover and gently push it into place. Secure it with the two screws removed in step 2.
Step 9: Plug your refrigerator’s power cord back into the wall outlet and you’re done!
