What You’ll Need:
• Phillips screwdriver
• New gasket holder retainer
Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator from the wall before beginning any repairs.
Step 2: Take off the faceplate and screws that hold the gasket holder retaining clip inside of the refrigerator. This is located at the top of the door, near the handle.
Step 3: Disconnect the wires connected to the gasket holder retainer.
Step 4: Remove the old retainer and install the new one. Reattach all wires.
Step 5: Secure the new retainer with the screws you took off in step 2.
Step 6: Reattach the faceplate and plug the refrigerator back in.
Your new gasket holder retainer is now installed on your LG 4930JJ2028A refrigerator.
