Tools Needed:
• Screwdriver
• Putty knife
• New gasket assembly

Step 1: Disconnect the power and water connections to your refrigerator. If there are ice cubes in the ice maker, turn off the ice maker switch before disconnecting power.

Step 2: Open the left hand door of your refrigerator and locate the screws that secure the gasket assembly to the frame. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws.

Step 3: Pull away the old gasket assembly from the frame. If the assembly is stuck, use a putty knife to loosen it.

Step 4: Clean any remaining adhesive or debris from the frame where the gasket assembly was located.

Step 5: Install the new gasket assembly onto the frame. Secure it with the screws you removed in Step 2.

Step 6: Re-connect the power and water connections to your refrigerator. Turn on the ice maker switch if you had turned it off in Step 1.

Step 7: Test your newly installed gasket assembly by opening and closing the left hand door of your refrigerator several times. Make sure the seal is tight and the door is properly secured.
