LG Electronics Sears Kenmore Refrigerator SPRING MHY62044106 DIY Instructions for Replacing the MHY62044106 LG Refrigerator Spring

1. Unplug your LG refrigerator from the electrical outlet.

2. Remove any food stored in the refrigerator, including any items stored on or near the shelf or shelves with the spring you will be replacing.

3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew and remove the screws from the side (or sides) of the shelf that needs to have its spring replaced.

4. Carefully pull the shelf away from the refrigerator.

5. Unhook the top of the spring from the shelf.

6. Pop off the cover of the spring hook.

7. On the inside of the hook, unhook the spring.

8. Take out the hook and the spring.

9. Match the hook and the spring of the new MHY62044106 replacement spring.

10. Place the hook and spring into position, hooking the top of the spring into the shelf.

11. Reattach the hook’s cover.

12. Push the shelf back into place.

13. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to secure the shelf with the screws.

14. Plug the LG refrigerator back in.

15. Replace food items onto the shelf with the new spring.
