1. Unplug the refrigerator from its power source.

2. Carefully tilt your refrigerator back slightly, so that it’s resting on the back of the cabinet and can be accessed from the rear.

3. Locate the fan-turbo – this is a cylindrical fan set into the base of the fridge.

4. Disconnect any wires or tubes connected to the fan-turbo.

5. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the fan-turbo in place.

6. Take out the fan-turbo unit.

7. Insert a new, compatible LG 5900A20009E FAN-TURBO, and reconnect any wires or tubes as necessary.
