Door boot spring clamp assembly for some models of LG washing machines. Replacing the 4861ER2001J LG Washer Door Boot Spring Clamp Assembly
Step 1: Unplug your washer from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Remove the screws holding the top panel. Lift up the top panel and set it aside.
Step 3: Remove the four screws that hold the front panel in place. Pull the front panel off and set it aside.
Step 4: Disconnect the water supply hose from the back side of the washer.
Step 5: Locate the door boot spring clamp assembly and remove the screws holding it in place.
Step 6: Install the new door boot spring clamp assembly and tighten the screws to secure it.
Step 7: Re-connect the water supply hose and replace the front panel.
Step 8: Replace the four screws that hold the front panel in place and then replace the top panel.
Step 9: Plug your washer back in and test it to ensure it is functioning properly.
