1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and shut off the water supply valve for the washer.

2. Remove the plastic back panel of the washer by removing all of the screws located on the back of the washer and pulling off the panel.

3. On the back of the door opening, locate the existing hinge spring holder.

4. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove the screws on the hinge spring holder and discard it.

5. Insert the replacement hinge spring holder into the back of the door opening and secure with screws.

6. Reinstall the plastic back panel to the washer, making sure all of the screws are tightened securely.

7. Turn on the water supply valve and plug in the power cord to the wall outlet.

8. Test the washer to make sure the hinge spring holder is functioning properly.
