Suspension spring, hinge for some models of LG washing machines. 1. Before you begin, prepare the necessary tools for replacing the MHY62964802 LG Washer Suspension Hinge Spring:

• Screwdriver
2. Power drill
3. Hammer
4. Pliers
5. Replacement MHY62964802 LG Washer Suspension Hinge Spring

2. Unplug the LG washer from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply if necessary.

3. Carefully tilt the LG washer back to gain access to the rear of the appliance.

4. Look for the suspension hinge spring located on the top left-hand side near the rear of the washer and identify it.

5. Using your screwdriver and power drill, remove any screws or bolts that are holding the spring in place.

6. Carefully take out the old spring using a pair of pliers and replace it with the new one.

7. Secure the new spring in place using the screws or bolts.

8. Use a hammer to gently tap the new spring into place, if necessary.

9. Plug the LG washer back into the wall outlet and turn on the water supply if necessary.

10. Test the washer to make sure the new spring is working properly.
