SAMSUNG ASSEMBLY DRIVE MOTOR SWITCH – DE81-04650A

Drive motor/switch assembly works with some Dacor models of range hoods. How to Replace the Samsung DE81-04650A SVC-ASSY Drive Motor Switch

1. Gather the necessary tools for the job: a Phillips head screwdriver, a putty knife, and a replacement DE81-04650A motor switch.

2. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet to prevent any electrical shocks.

3. Use a putty knife to remove the grille on the front of the refrigerator.

4. Remove the screws securing the lower panel with a Phillips head screwdriver.

5. Carefully detach the lower panel and set it aside.

6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the motor switch.

7. Remove the mounting screws on either side of the motor switch using the Phillips head screwdriver.

8. Slide the old motor switch outwards away from the refrigerator.

9. Insert the new motor switch and secure it with the mounting screws.

10. Reattach the wiring harness to the back of the motor switch.

11. Align the lower panel with the base of the refrigerator.

12. Securely attach the lower panel with the screws from the previous step.

13. Place the grille back over the front of the refrigerator.

14. Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet.

15. Test the new motor switch for proper operation.
