Sump vane check drain valve for some models of Samsung dishwashers. 1. Begin by turning water off at the main shut off valve.
2. Unscrew the old Samsung DD66-00045A Drain Check Valve from its mounting bracket with a wrench or pliers.
3. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the check valve.
4. Install the new Samsung DD66-00045A Drain Check Valve to the mounting bracket. Secure the unit with the wrench or pliers.
5. Reattach the inlet and outlet hoses securely to the new check valve.
6. Turn the water back on at the main shut off valve.
7. Check for leaks around the new check valve and all connections.
8. Test the new check valve by running water into the sink and checking to make sure the water is draining properly.
