Are you looking to replace your Samsung Washer’s DC66-00887A Pulsator Cap? Follow this DIY guide to learn how to do it on your own in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Preparing the Washer
Before you get started, make sure the power to the washer is turned off. You can do this by unplugging the power cord from the outlet.
Next, shut off the water supply and disconnect the hoses from the back of the washer. The hoses should be disconnected from both the hot and cold water inlet valves.
Step 2: Removing the Old Pulsator Cap
Locate the pulsator cap, which should be located in the center of the washer tub. There will be four screws holding the cap in place.
Remove the screws and then gently lift the pulsator cap up out of the washer.
Step 3: Installing the New Pulsator Cap
Place the new pulsator cap into the opening in the washer tub. Make sure the cap is properly aligned so that all four screws can be reinserted.
Secure the cap in place by screwing in the four screws.
Step 4: Reconnect Hoses and Power Cord
Reattach the water supply hoses to the washer, making sure they are connected to the hot and cold water valves.
Finally, plug the power cord back into the outlet.
You’re now ready to use your washer again. It’s as simple as that!
