Replacing the DC62-00156A Samsung Washer Rear Tub Oil Seal is a job that anyone can do with a few simple tools. With the right instructions, you can save time and money on the repair! Here’s what you need to know to make sure this DIY project goes smoothly.
Tools You’ll Need:
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Pliers
• Flathead screwdriver
• New DC62-00156A Rear Tub Oil Seal
• Socket wrench (optional)
Instructions:
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the screws holding the top panel to the back of the washer. You may need a Phillips head screwdriver for this step.
3. With the top panel off, locate the rear tub oil seal.
4. Using pliers, disconnect any wires or hoses connected to the old seal.
5. Now, use a flathead screwdriver to carefully remove the old seal from the washer housing.
6. Insert the new DC62-00156A Rear Tub Oil Seal into the housing, making sure it’s securely in place.
7. Reattach any wires or hoses that were disconnected.
8. Replace the top panel and screws.
Your Samsung washer is now equipped with a new Rear Tub Oil Seal! If you’ve used a socket wrench to complete any of the steps, be sure to store it away safely afterward.
