SAMSUNG WASHER SPIDER HEX BOLT – DC60-40137A

Hex bolt for some models of Samsung washing machines. Step 1 – Unplug the Washer
Before you begin any repair work, remember to unplug the Samsung washer from the power outlet.

Step 2 – Open the Washer Cabinet
Your Samsung washer is held together by a few screws located underneath the top panel. Unscrew all of them and open up the washer cabinet.

Step 3 – Locate the Spider Hex Bolt
The Spider Hex Bolt is located in the center of the agitator. This bolt helps secure the agitator to the main shaft.

Step 4 – Remove the Spider Hex Bolt
Using a small screwdriver, carefully remove the Spider Hex Bolt from the agitator.

Step 5 – Install the New Spider Hex Bolt
Take the new DC60-40137A Spider Hex Bolt and insert it into the agitator. Make sure that it is securely tightened into place.

Step 6 – Close the Washer Cabinet
Once you have secured the new Spider Hex Bolt, close the washer cabinet and screw the screws back in place.

Step 7 – Plug the Washer Back In
After everything is reassembled, plug the washer back into the power outlet and you are done!
