Idler pulley for some models of Speed Queen / Alliance washing machines. DIY Instructions: Replacing the 38225P Speed Queen Washer Idler Pulley (Wheel)
1. Unplug your washing machine from the power source.
2. Disconnect the water supply hoses from the back of the washer.
3. Remove the back panel from your washer. This can be done by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
4. Locate the idler pulley wheel – it is located on the bottom of the washer.
5. Unscrew the nut that holds the wheel in place and remove it.
6. Install the new wheel, making sure to firmly screw the nut in place.
7. Reassemble the back panel of the washer and screw it back in place.
8. Reconnect the water supply hoses to the back of the washer.
9. Plug in your washing machine and test it out to make sure the wheel is functioning properly.
10. Enjoy your newly replaced 38225P Speed Queen Washer Idler Pulley (Wheel)!
