Before you begin any work disconnect the dishwasher from the power source to avoid any potential electric shock.

Step 2: Empty the Dishwasher
Remove any dishes or flatware from the dishwasher and empty out soap detergent and rinse aid containers.

Step 3: Loosen the Existing Spray Arm
Unscrew the existing upper wash spray arm 8193504 from the top of the dishwasher by twisting it counter-clockwise.

Step 4: Remove the Existing Spray Arm
Gently pull the old spray arm away from the dishwasher. Be careful not to scratch the interior walls of the dishwasher.

Step 5: Install the New Spray Arm
Place the new upper washer spray arm 8193504 in the center of the dishwasher and twist clockwise until it is securely in place.

Step 6: Test the New Spray Arm
Run a cycle on the dishwasher with only dishes inside to make sure the new spray arm is working properly.

Step 7: Reassemble and Plug In the Dishwasher
Replace all the dishes, detergent, and rinse aid containers within the dishwasher and plug it back into the wall outlet.
