1. Prepare for the job: Make sure you have the right tools for the job, including a replacement heating element, screwdriver, and other necessary parts. If you’re unsure of what’s required, check with your local appliance store or manufacturer.
2. Mount the bracket: Unscrew the top access panel of the dryer to expose the heating assembly and find the mounting bracket. Unscrew the bracket and remove it from the dryer.
3. Remove the old heating element: Disconnect the wires attached to the old element, located at the back of the dryer. With a screwdriver, unscrew the element from the back of the dryer.
