1. Start by unplugging the refrigerator from the power supply. Make sure all circuits are switched off including any additional timers or switches.

2. Take out any items stored on the shelf where you will be replacing the end cap kit and take out the shelf itself.

3. Using a Philips head screwdriver, remove the screw at the top of the shelf bar which is holding the original end cap into place.

4. With the screw removed, gently pull up on the old end cap at both ends to release it from the shelf bar.

5. Take the new end cap kit and place it onto the shelf bar. Make sure that the notches at each end of the end cap kit is lined up with the corresponding holes on the shelf bar.

6. Once the notches and holes line up, push down firmly on the end cap kit so that it is securely attached to the shelf bar.

7. Secure the end cap kit in place on the shelf bar by inserting the screw you removed earlier and tightening with your Philips head screwdriver.

8. After you have secured the end cap in place on the shelf bar, replace the shelf back into the refrigerator and plug the power supply back in.
