Unplug the washer from the wall outlet and turn off any fuses or circuit breakers connected to it.

Step 2: Empty any remaining water from the tub of the washer. To do this, you will need to tilt the washer on its side and carefully remove the bottom panel.

Step 3: Unscrew the three screws at the bottom of the washer that hold the lip seal in place. Once you have removed these screws, you should be able to lift the lip seal out of the washer.

Step 4: Before installing the new lip seal, make sure the area where the lip seal goes is free of dirt, debris, and other contaminants. If there is any present, use a wet/dry vacuum or compressed air to remove them.

Step 5: Once the area is cleaned, place the new lip seal into the recess in the washer and secure it in place with the three screws. Make sure they are tightened securely but not overly tight.

Step 6: Reattach the bottom panel and tilt the washer back up. Plug in the washer and turn on the power to it. Test the washer to make sure the new seal is working properly.
