1. Turn off the power to the dryer. Unplug it from the electrical socket and\/or switch off the circuit breaker.<\/p>\n
2. Remove the existing vent elbow from the back of the dryer. Begin by unscrewing the screws that secure the elbow to the back of the dryer.<\/p>\n
3. Disconnect the end of the vent hose that is connected to the elbow by loosening the clamps holding the hose in place. Pull the vent hose off of the elbow.<\/p>\n
4. Install the new vent elbow. Start by inserting the new elbow on to the end of the vent hose. Make sure to firmly press the elbow onto the vent hose.<\/p>\n
5. Secure the elbow to the back of the dryer with the screws that were removed. After tightening the screws, test the connection to make sure it’s secure.<\/p>\n
