Pull the dryer away from the wall if necessary to access the back panel. <\/p>\n
2. Remove the screws on the back panel of the dryer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Set the screws aside in a safe place. <\/p>\n
3. Pull off the back panel to gain access to the lint filter. The filter should be located near the blower fan, which is at the bottom of the machine.<\/p>\n
4. Disconnect the metal clips that attach the lint filter to the blower fan housing. Unhook any metal springs that may be attached to the filter as well.<\/p>\n
5. Place the old lint filter aside and grab the new 5304511512 Frigidaire Dryer Lint Filter.<\/p>\n
6. Attach the metal clips and\/or springs to the new filter, then fit the filter into the blower fan housing. Make sure that it is properly secured.<\/p>\n
7. Put the back panel back on and secure it with the screws.<\/p>\n
8. Plug the dryer back into the power source and test the filter to make sure it is working correctly.<\/p>\n
