Step 1: Locate the Water Filter. The water filter is located in the bottom right-hand corner of your refrigerator compartment.<\/p>\n
Step 2: Turn off the water supply. Before you begin, make sure you turn off the cold water valve that supplies water to the refrigerator.<\/p>\n
Step 3: Remove the old filter. Remove the old filter by twisting it in a counterclockwise direction until it comes loose.<\/p>\n
Step 4: Insert the new filter. Push the new filter into the filter housing and twist it gently in a clockwise direction to secure it in place.<\/p>\n
Step 5: Turn on the water supply. Turn the cold water valve back on to restore water flow to the refrigerator.<\/p>\n
Step 6: Flush the filter. Allow one gallon of water to flush through the system to remove any air pockets and purify the water.<\/p>\n
Step 7: Check for leaks. Check for any water leakage around the filter housing to ensure it is properly secured.<\/p>\n
