Unplug the refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply to the ice maker.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Locate the thermostat on the inside ceiling of the refrigerator. It is a round, black disc set into the ceiling with two wires connected to it.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Disconnect the two wires that are connected to the thermostat, using needle nose pliers.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Remove the screws that hold the thermostat in place, using a Phillips head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Remove the old thermostat from the ceiling of the refrigerator.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Install the new Frigidaire 297110400 THERMISTER by pressing it into the same hole that the old thermostat was removed from.<\/p>\n<p> 7.
