Unplug the dishwasher power cord and turn off the circuit breaker before beginning any repair.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the rack slides. This can be done by lifting the slide assembly to disconnect the ends from the groove in the sidewall. Once disconnected, pull the slide out and away from the dishwasher.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws holding the left side end cap in place. <\/p>\n<p> 4. Pull the end cap away from the dishwasher slide wall to expose the opening for the WD30X29858 End Cap and Rack Slide LH. <\/p>\n<p> 5. Insert the new end cap and rack slide into the opening, ensuring that the two tracks on the bottom of the slide fit correctly into the grooves in the slide wall. <\/p>\n<p> 6. Reattach the screws to secure the end cap in place. <\/p>\n<p> 7. Push the new rack slide back until it clicks into place. <\/p>\n<p> 8.
