Step 2: Open the microwave door and remove the screws that are securing the front panel to the body of the microwave.<\/p>\n
Step 3: Carefully pull the front panel off of the microwave and set it aside. <\/p>\n
Step 4: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws that are holding the old latch assembly in place. <\/p>\n
Step 5: Lift the old latch assembly up and away from the microwave, then disconnect the wires that are attached to the back of it. <\/p>\n
