Trust us for all of your General Electric Hotpoint appliance parts and accessories needs. Replacing the GE WE4M415 Door Switch<\/p>\n<p> 1. Disconnect the power to your appliance by unplugging it or turning off the breaker that supplies power to the appliance.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the screws securing the top panel of the appliance. Lift the top panel away from the appliance and set aside.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Locate the GE WE4M415 door switch, which is typically found near the top of the door frame.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Disconnect the two wires connected to the door switch by grasping each wire and pulling it away from the terminal.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws securing the switch to the frame of the appliance.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Take the new GE WE4M415 door switch and insert the two wires into the terminals on the new switch. Make sure the connections are tight.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Secure the new switch to the frame of the appliance using the screws from the old switch.<\/p>\n<p> 8. Replace the top panel of the appliance and secure with the screws.<\/p>\n<p> 9. Reconnect the power to the appliance.<\/p>\n<p> 10.
