Unplug your dryer from the power source to avoid electrocution or injury.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the dryer&#8217;s back panel to access the thermostat.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Unscrew and disconnect the wires connected to the existing thermostat with a screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Remove the existing thermostat and replace it with a new WE04X25195 GE Dryer Cycle Thermostat.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Connect the wires to the new thermostat in the same position as the old one (wire colors should match).<\/p>\n<p> 6. Screw the new thermostat in place.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Reinstall the back panel and plug the dryer into the power source.<\/p>\n<p> 8.
