Unplug the stove or turn off the breaker that supplies power to the stove.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the grate covering the medium burner by removing the two screws and securing it with a Phillips-head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Lift the grate away from the stove and set it aside.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Unscrew the four screws holding the metal ring on top of the burner.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Carefully lift the metal ring away from the burner, not damaging the wiring.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Locate the two wires connected to the back of the old medium burner and disconnect them.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Place the new WB16X24724 GE Medium Burner into the same slot and reconnect the two wires.<\/p>\n<p> 8. Place the metal ring over the burner and secure it with the four screws.<\/p>\n<p> 9. Replace the grate on the stove and secure it with the two screws.<\/p>\n<p> 10.
