Unplug the range hood from the wall outlet or switch off the power at the circuit breaker.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the old fan switch from the range hood by loosening the screws that hold it to the range hood using a Phillips head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Remove the wires connected to the old fan switch, noting which wires are connected to which terminals.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Place the new WB24X10129 GE Range Hood Fan Switch in the same location as the old switch, lining up the mounting screws.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Connect the wires to the new switch using the same terminal positions as the old switch.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Tighten the screws that hold the switch in place.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Plug the range hood into the wall outlet or switch the circuit breaker back on.<\/p>\n<p> 8.
