2. Remove the grates, if applicable, and set them aside safely.<\/p>\n
3. Remove the screws located around the edge of the cooktop.<\/p>\n
4. Carefully lift the cooktop up and away from the stove.<\/p>\n
5. Disconnect any wires going to the element and save for reattaching afterward.<\/p>\n
6. Locate the GE WB30T10099 ELEMENT RADIANT 9IN DUAL and remove the mounting screws.<\/p>\n
7. Remove the old element and install the new one.<\/p>\n
8. Secure the new element using the mounting screws.<\/p>\n
9. Reconnect any wiring that was disconnected earlier.<\/p>\n
10. Place the cooktop back onto the stove and secure it with the saved screws.<\/p>\n
11. Replace the grates, if applicable, and plug the stove back into the wall outlet. The<\/p>\n
