First, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and disconnect the drum from the power source to prevent injuries from electric shocks.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Remove the screws from the bearing plate at the rear of the dryer using a Phillip&#8217;s head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Pull the bearing out of the dryer and discard it.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Place the new GE WE3X87 Rear Drum Slide Bearing into the dryer&#8217;s frame. <\/p>\n<p> 5. Secure the bearing into place with the screws you removed in step two. <\/p>\n<p> 6. Re-connect the drum to the power source and plug the power cord into the wall outlet. <\/p>\n<p> 7.
