How to Replace a GE Push-to-Start Switch (WE4M416)<\/p>\n<p> Tools and Materials:<\/p>\n<p> \u2022 New GE Push to Start Switch (WE4M416)<\/p>\n<p> \u2022 Phillips head screwdriver<\/p>\n<p> \u2022 Wire cutters<\/p>\n<p> \u2022 Needle-nose pliers<\/p>\n<p> Instructions:<\/p>\n<p> 1. Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Open the dryer door and locate the switch that needs to be replaced.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Remove the two screws holding the switch in place using a Phillips head screwdriver.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Disconnect the wires from the old switch. Use wire cutters to trim the wires to length, if necessary.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Connect the wires to the new switch using needle-nose pliers to twist the wires together.<\/p>\n<p> 6.
