Replacing the WH02X24399 GE Washer Lid Lock Striker<br \/> 1. Unplug the power cord from your washer and shut off the water supply.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Position a towel or rag under the washer to catch any small parts or screws that may fall off during the repair.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Remove the screws located around the outer perimeter of the access panel to remove it.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Inside the access panel, you will see the lid lock striker.<\/p>\n<p> 5. Remove the mounting screws that secure the striker to the cabinet.<\/p>\n<p> 6. Gently pull the striker away from the cabinet and remove it.<\/p>\n<p> 7. Take the new striker and insert it into the opening, ensuring it is correctly aligned.<\/p>\n<p> 8. Secure the striker with the mounting screws.<\/p>\n<p> 9. Replace the access panel and secure it with the screws you removed earlier.<\/p>\n<p> 10. Reconnect the power cord and water supply.<\/p>\n<p> 11.
